Job Overview: As a Care Assistant at Stellar Care, you will play a crucial role in supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and meals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions.
• Support residents in participating in recreational and social activities.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a care assistant role or a similar position is preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of dementia care is an advantage.
• Willingness to undergo training and development.
